I offer a practical, efficient and non judgmental service to declutter, re-organise and implement a plan for keeping your household or office running smoothly with minimal effort.
I can also: recommend and source storage, furniture, and other household items; suggest tradespeople for specific jobs; arrange all the logistics for moving house right down to booking movers; and physically donate unwanted items to local charities.

I will first of all arrange a consultation with you to understand your situation, goals and how you use / live in your current space. This consultation can be done virtually or in person. I will then devise a plan to address your specific needs which we can discuss and refine. Sessions are always held in person with the client, and we work through rooms together and at your pace, starting on the area of most concern for you.
It's always easier to work together and if you feel that you would like to do some extra work in between sessions, I can give you some tasks to undertake to keep the momentum going.

The whole process of home organising is a partnership: we will ensure that we have done the relevant preparation before my visit to ensure that we maximise the time.
The fact that you are reading my site means that you have taken the first step in wanting to make some changes. Working together we can do this – it is always easier when tackled with someone else!

I will never remove dispose of anything without your express permission. The aim of home organising is to work as a partnership to streamline your space. I will ask you a series of questions before my first visit to ascertain what you hope to achieve. The aim is for you to make the most of your living space and truly focus on designing your space around what is important to you.
This includes ensuring that any items that you are happy to part with go to the right homes, be it local charities, hostels, hospices and I can even sell higher value items on your behalf so as to make you some money in the process.

We will complete a consultation to determine your goals and what you hope to achieve before we actually begin organising your home: it is preferable to do this in person so that I can see how you live and what you'd like to change so please don’t tidy up before I arrive!

Nothing! Although if you have preferred storage receptacles it would be helpful to have those to hand so that we can get started immediately.
I always advise clients not to buy additional storage before we start, as the process of decluttering will allow us to see what type of storage you will need once the process is finished.
For environmental purposes, I always prefer to use clients' existing storage containers rather than buying new. I always carry my tape measure so if additional items are required then I can suggest solutions to fit the space, and furniture can often be moved around and re-purposed into a new space!

Absolutely; I offer various services to help remove items if you no longer need them.
1) Donating the item(s), for example with local organisations or charities. I can either drop off a car load of items at the end of the session, or can are arrange for charities to collect from you (charity dependent)
2) Arranging for disposal of bulky refuse either through the local council (if available) or through a removal firm. I'm happy to make the calls and arrange this on your behalf and any service booked is at your cost.
3) Source someone to sell the items for you (seller's discretion)
4) Arranging off site storage, including producing an inventory and removal of items to the facility – prices are based on the size of the unit and the duration of the contract.

You should feel energised and happy with your new surroundings; calmer in yourself and with a space which works for you and your family. It is amazing how starting with one small area gives such a sense of achievement that you will not want to stop! We will end up with a clutter free area and a plan to move forward: not just moving things around from room to room.

Absolutely: these can either be using what you already have, or other alternatives which you can purchase yourself based on your needs, but only if you are happy to buy in storage – there is no compulsion to spend any additional money unless you would like to, in which case I can help you choose and source the items.

Ideally yes; it is a very personal journey and we will work together to achieve the right result for you.
This also applies to children, where we are looking at re-organising their bedrooms / playroom: I will always want to meet them and get their buy in so that we can design their space together.
